It is not everyday, you get to see a balloon artist or a man venturing into a field mostly dominated by women, the children's entertainment Field. Yet, that is exactly, what the CEO of Balloon arts by bow did. He was totally unfazed, but instead decided to give himself an edge by specializing in balloon art among others.

Baloon Art: Name is Bayo Owoade.

Kemi Mobuse blog: What do you do?

Baloon Art: Yeah! I'm an Event Manager/Funplanner... Actually a graduate of Business Administration majored in marketing...

Kemi Mobuse blog: Why this field of work in particular?

Baloon Art: We all had dreams of working a corporate setting, for me, I wanted an advertising company...But, life seems to be different in the real world! Lol!.
I started life in the real world in sales/retailing. But, the fact is; I've always had love for children, and also, offering wholesome fun and entertainment for kids, adults and corporate organizations...as in to provide fun to the whole family unit; So, I decided to invest money and resources in acquiring inflatable and other entertainment resources..
Which I found was popular in Nigeria, and I wandered how to break into the scene...

Kemi Mobuse blog: How did you eventually start out?
Baloon Art: By chance, I ran into a workshop of Balloon Art in UAE! I was like, WOW!!! This is a good opportunity to up my game in entertainment and even in styling...
After the workshop, I bought some twisting balloons and started to learn the basic twisting technique and balloon animals... over the past couple of years I have enhanced my skills to create elaborate balloon art for my children, family and friends.I started "Balloonartbybow" to use my talents to create something special that kids and adults will enjoy..
The name of my entertainment company is "PlayfulBow Entertainment"
Where we offer event and party planning, kids entertainment, music/dj services and promotional services...

Kemi Mobuse blog: What major challenges have you experienced since starting out? And how old is your brand now?

Baloon Art: Hmmm, challenges, acceptance!, exposure! and capital.
Modeling balloons don't come cheap, good ones are expensive. And even the service is not cheap!
Making clients to understand the charge they are paying... it takes a bit to be a good balloon twister; one can't pick a balloon and create stuffs! It's a skill.
"Balloonartbybow" is now 2years old.

Kemi Mobuse blog: Given a chance to start over, what would you wish to have done differently?

Baloon Art: ..... That I didn't discover myself on time!!!!
We all have a talent! God made us to be great! Greatness is in us all, BUT one needs to take a bold step to see the GREATNESS in himself/herself!

Kemi Mobuse blog: Given a chance to meet a prominent personality in your field of work, who would you choose? And what would you say to him?

Baloon Art: Hmmmm, tough one!... I've been inspired by lots of Balloon Artist from all over the world!!From the US, Russia, Spain, Asian and co...Since I wanted to be the best, i had to tap knowledge from various peeps to achieve my objective.

Kemi Mobuse blog: What advice can you offer upcoming entrepreneurs?

Baloon Art: Believe in yourself!!!!!!Don't give up! Look in the mirror and say to yourself "I'm a great man/woman," "I'm gifted"
And above all it takes practice and practice! And needless to say it's HARDWORK!
