Never knew you can make a living out of making Pancakes, here is someone who successfully did!

When i think of Pancakes, all i think of, is mixing flour with milk, egg, butter and bam!its ready for my consumption,lol!

It is therefore refreshing to see, someone who makes a good living out of making pancake, turning it into a sumptuous meal to be enjoyed and not just a mediocre snack.

Pancake hub: My name is Jide Alex-Oni. Managing Partner- Two Edge Partners Global Ltd. My company started an initiative called the Startup Aquarium last year August and the focus of this initiative was to focus on funding businesses at the base of the pyramid ie MSME businesses

Pancake hub: Pancake Hub was one of the ideas that was put forward under the startup Aquarium. My wife brought it to lime light and since it was within the Two Edge Partners Global enclave, we decided to nurture it to where it is today .

Pancake hub: The Pancake Hub has been well received since we launched out. It's had an enormous patronage till date

Kemi Mobuse blog: Why pancake in particular?

Pancake hub: Well there aren't any eateries or food restaurants that focuses strictly on pancakes and we thought if an IHOP in America can do well why not build a similar brand in Nigeria. Besides we as a people are used to the flat types of pancakes here but Pancake Hub gives you the best fluffy pancakes in town. We also have smoothies as wel.

Kemi Mobuse blog: Do you combine the pancake with any other food? Or sides?

Kemi Mobuse blog: What makes it different from the regular Pancake?

Pancake hub: Oh yes! We offer fresh 1inch fluffy pancakes with scrambled eggs and sausages for breakfast as our standard meal. We have extra toppings such as fruity toppings, chilli toppings and spicy meatballs as extras. We also do Vegan Pancakes for the vegetarians and all these comes with any hot beverage of your choice

Kemi Mobuse blog: Nice one. Any advice for future entrepreneurs?

Pancake hub: I have plenty advice oh! Entrepreneurs need to understand that starting small is always the best way to go so they can take control of the organic growth for potential scale up to the next level of their business.

Pancake hub: Entrepreneurs need to learn the essence of delayed gratification as against instant gratification in the life style which is the order of the day because nothing good comes easy but through hard work.
