Forthworth Farms is one of those who aims to promote healthy living. ForthWorth farm now one of the fastest growing farms in Nigeria with a team of dedicated professionals. They are dedicated to the breeding and rearing of Poultry Livestock as well as the Growing of Organic vegetables. The decision to establish a Live stock farm was taken by considering the high demand for eggs and meat in the country.

ForthWorth Farms:
A graduate of Ladoke Akintola university of technology, I studied Crop
production and soil science and I currently work for ForthWorth farms as an
admin personnel.

into?
ForthWorth Farms:
We are into Crop and Animal production. We grow organic vegetables and also
raise birds for egg and meat production

how has the market reception been?

Farm started in 2011, we are currently rebranding
Market reception has been great so far, our consumers love our products.

direct sales alone? Or you also sell the eggs and freeze up the chicken?
ForthWorth Farms:
No they are not. We sell to wholesalers who in turn resell as well. Eggs are
sold in both large and small quantities; we sell both live chicken frozen
chickens. Our chickens are processed and frozen

ForthWorth Farms:
Well, like every business, farming has its challenges as well, we have had
issues of heat stroke on our birds, due to the very hot weather in Nigeria, but
it is currently being managed. Some of the birds were lost due to this
predicament.

working on the farm?
ForthWorth Farms:
I've learned patience. I've learned to worry less and let Mother Nature do her
work, it's a process that can't really be hurried.

anyone going into same field?
ForthWorth Farms:
Advice: make sure you have a clear plan, do a lot of research, know your target
market, and try as much as possible to produce only the best products.
