I actually started my business by accident! - CEO Hifeys creations

Some people can be said to have all the luck in the world sha! Imagine, just dressing up your niece, just like the CEO of Hifeys Creation did, taking some pictures and uploading it on your IG page, and voila! people started calling you up?
That was how, she actually just started this her accessories brand and thankfully, its been a wonderful success.

She told KMB more about her journey since then, read below:

Hifeys creations: My name is Ifeoluwa Temi-Ogunyemi, I am the creative director of Hifey's Creations

Kemi Mobuse blog: What do you do?

Hifeys creations: I make beautiful handmade accessories for babies and adults.

Kemi Mobuse blog: What inspired your going into this field?

Hifeys creations: I am inspired by a number of things I see on a daily basis but mostly the end result of whatever project I am working on at the moment, I am inspired by my mistakes and the desire to finish well no matter what comes my way.
Babies are also my source of inspiration.

Kemi Mobuse blog: What is the name of your brand and how old is it?

Hifeys creations: My brands name is Hifey's creations. Its 4months old

Kemi Mobuse blog: How did you start out capital wise?

Hifeys creations: I wouldn’t say I started with a huge amount of money. I bought some craft materials, made a few hairpieces for my niece, took some pictures of her, I put it up online and people started requesting for it.

Kemi Mobuse blog: How was the market reception since starting out?

Hifeys creations: The reception has been awesome and I cannot end this without saying a BIG THANK YOU TO ALL MY CUSTOMERS!!!

Kemi Mobuse blog: What major challenges have you experienced that nearly made you give up? More importantly, what did you take away from that challenge?

Hifeys creations: I just started and besides my craft will always be a part of me no matter what, it’s like my first love, over the years I have done different projects that I have sold and gifted to people. It's just some months ago that I decided to focus on it. And also, I did not set out to give up. The major challenge I am having @ the moment is getting pretty and beautiful fabrics, also, varieties of craft materials.

Kemi Mobuse blog: What can you say is your motivation?

Hifeys creations: I am motivated majorly by the end result of my projects. They turn out beautiful even though, in the process, I make mistakes but I always have the end in mind.

Kemi Mobuse blog: Where do you see your brand in 5 years?

Hifeys creations: In 5 years, I see my products taking over the Nigerian market which will in turn boost our economy and also taking bold steps further to the international market.

Kemi Mobuse blog: Give three advices to future entrepreneurs

1) Start now, 2)make mistakes 3) never ever give up!
