Kemi Mobuse blog: Can we meet you?

Credible: My name is Omopariola Oladele jr. A young enterprenuer based in Lagos, Nigeria

Kemi Mobuse blog: What do you do?

Kemi Mobuse blog: And what us your brand name?

Credible: I'm basically into shoe making, I run a fashion brand named Credible® which was founded in May 2013

Kemi Mobuse blog: Why the choice of shoe making as a profession?

Credible: Started out years ago in my undergraduate days selling imported shoes and other accessories, but later on the idea of having my own shoe brand came so when I found some very talented shoemakers it was a no brainier for me to start out my own label.

Kemi Mobuse blog: How was start up financial wise?

Credible: I actually started out with N10,000 initially though along the line I have been able to get little funds here and there from savings and profit from sales but no Major startup fund as of yet

Kemi Mobuse blog: How was the market reception?

Credible: It has been good, at the start I leveraged on the clientele base I already had & social media marketing has also helped a lot.
Kemi Mobuse blog: What is your current staff strength?

Credible: Currently I have only one full time staff. Others are on contractual basis

Kemi Mobuse blog: What major challenges have you experienced since inception?

Credible: Convincing some potential customers to patronize my not too known shoe brand. Getting funds to expand the brand.
Kemi Mobuse blog: What is your daily motivation?

Credible: Prayer also knowing I can do better than I have done presently & that I can go farther than where I am presently

Kemi Mobuse blog: And what is a typical day like in your business?

Credible: Making Calls to customers, updating my sales log, checking up with my shoemakers, creating posts to keep promoting the brand. Contacting the courier company to come pick up shoes for Delivery

Kemi Mobuse blog: Is this your only source of livelihood?

Credible: Yes! For now since I still stay with my parents so I leverage on free food and shelter *Laughs*

Credible: Credible® is my life time project, the type of thing you leave for your children.Credible: I as well have plans to build other businesses and become a Great serial entrepreneur but The Credible® brand will always be there

Kemi Mobuse blog: Have you had any regrets since you started?

Credible: Can't say regrets more like learning experiences it's been wonderful so far I should say

Kemi Mobuse blog: And your most memorable business experience?

Credible: I have many memorable experiences but I will say the one I cherished the most was; when I was invited in may 2015 for a radio program to come talk about my brand.

Kemi Mobuse blog: Any advice for upcoming entrepreneurs?

Credible: They should find something they are passionate about & start working on it
