So, I noticed that most of my interview questions are beginning to sound same and no has no uniqueness about them, so i decided to do something different and focus my questions only on the Job or craft of the person being interviewed.

It is a real privilege to get a chance to interview the CEO of  Tints'n'Ties Beauty Professionals, a company that has been in existence since 2007, she is a professional at what she does, and was willing to share a little of it all with us her fans.

Tints'n'Ties: I am a professional makeup artist and skincare therapist



Kemimobuseblog: What is the name of your brand?

Tints'n'Ties: Tints'n'Ties Beauty Professionals

Kemimobuseblog: Why did you choose this profession?

Tints'n'Ties: I have always been passionate about all things beauty

Kemimobuseblog: Where do you get your inspiration from?

Tints'n'Ties: From watching TV shows and beauty channels

Kemimobuseblog: Who are some people that have inspired you throughout your career?

Tints'n'Ties: Samer khouzami ,Goar Avetisyan and so many others

Kemimobuseblog: How long have you been a makeup artist and how did you get your start in the industry?

Tints'n'Ties: I have been a makeup artist since 2007. I started right from when I graduated from university went to a makeup school and got certified.



Kemimobuseblog: What do you love most about make up?

Tints'n'Ties: The ability to transform individuals from bare to glam.

Kemimobuseblog: If you weren’t a makeup artist, what else would you do?

Tints'n'Ties: I would be a practicing mechanical engineer

Kemimobuseblog: How would you describe your signature look and what is it about your style that sets you apart from other makeup artists?

Tints'n'Ties: I would say the ability to pay attention to the tiniest of details has made me. stand out thus far.



Kemimobuseblog: Can you tell us what makes you a good fit for this particular makeup artist position with the competition being so tough?

Tints'n'Ties: the ability to continually be open to learning and growth,the competition could be tough but knowing why one is in the industry matters more.

Kemimobuseblog: What are the biggest challenge makeup artists have to face?

Tints'n'Ties: being taken for granted by clients who see makeup as a hobby rather than an art and a. means of livelihood.

Kemimobuseblog: If a customer asks for a style that you are sure would not suit them, how do you convince the customer to go otherwise?

Tints'n'Ties: I would believe that the customer coming to me as a professional shows that there's a level of confidence they have in my work hence I would subtly guide them into making the right decision concerning whatever look they wanna wear.



Kemimobuseblog: Tell me about your experience as a makeup artist?

Tints'n'Ties: it has been a roller-coaster ride with its ups and downs which never end but that's part of what makes it so interesting.

Kemimobuseblog: Do you apply makeup for special events? Name some you have covered?

Tints'n'Ties: weddings and sometimes TV shows like Africa Magic urban,Stargist etc

Kemimobuseblog: How do you determine a client’s undertone before you decide what makeup technique to use?

Tints'n'Ties: it comes with years of experience and of course we test the colors on their skin too before application

Kemimobuseblog: What are some common beauty mistakes that women make?

Tints'n'Ties: using black pencil for their eyebrows, sleeping with their makeup on to mention a few



Kemimobuseblog: What is your favorite make up for ever product?  

Tints'n'Ties: Black Up Paris so far so good

Kemimobuseblog: How often do you clean your makeup tools such as brushes and combs? How does it affect the wear and tear of your tools and how do you feel about the associated expense?

Tints'n'Ties: I clean after every job done. there are techniques for cleaning our tools that enable them last long.

Kemimobuseblog: Any advice for upcoming entrepreneurs?

Tints'n'Ties: stay focused and don't follow the crowd. Find your passion and remain grounded in your pursuit.
