So, here we go again...looking for some beautiful made in Naija stuffs, bam! we saw Ms Vesy, a very talented and creative Designer, who no matter your body shape or size can bring out the very best in you through clothes.
KMB decided to probe more into how she came to be in this fashion business and she was delighted to share her story with us....

Ms Vesy: I’m a fashion designer/tailor/dress maker/couturier Or Whatever u like to call it. LOl!
Kemi Mobuse blog: What inspired you going into fashion designer?
Ms Vesy: Hmmnn, I guess, trying to make the dresses made for me back then better.
Eventually it became a hobby, recreating my dresses n fixing them. Plus I’m a lover of art; I’ve been drawing as far back as i can remember “Giggles".

Kemi Mobuse blog: How old is your business and how has the market reception been?
Ms Vesy: It’s officially 3 yrs in April. It has been very good, my work speaks for me and God is involved.
Kemi Mobuse blog: Nice one. Is this your sole source of livelihood?
Ms Vesy: Yes it is.
Kemi Mobuse blog: What challenges have you experienced since you started?
Ms Vesy: Hmmnn. I would say getting experienced workers that are quite knowledgeable about the business.

Ms Vesy: VESY

Ms Vesy: Yes, Just VESY.
Kemi Mobuse blog: Unusual choice of name. What inspired it?
Ms Vesy: Yes it is. Trying to fit everything together into one n the old schools like DKNY n FUBU. It is an acronym

Kemi Mobuse blog: What was the worst advice you have been given since you started out?
Ms Vesy: Get a job, go back to your course of study n continue to medicine (I studied anatomy).

Ms Vesy: Nope I didn’t take the advice. I choose to Follow my passion
Kemi Mobuse blog: What has been your most memorable experience since you started?
Ms Vesy: I have a lot, but there’s one that stood out

Ms Vesy: One of my clients from the states came around to fit her dress, never measured never seen, her dress was so perfect she almost cried n kept on praying for me, gave me a handful of tip n a gift.
Kemi Mobuse blog: Awwwwww,that is sooo sweet. Am sure, you got her as a loyal client from then on.

Kemi Mobuse blog: And what can you say sets you apart from others in same line of business?
Ms Vesy: Yes we are affordable n like I always say expensive is a relative term.
Ms Vesy: We understand the human body....everyone can be curvy just depends on perspective.*smiles

Ms Vesy: Mostly referrals and social media

Ms Vesy: Believe in yourself, Trust your instincts, Get advice, Learn about the craft and add God to it. You'll be fine
