James Manager while commending Abaribe said that if the country concentrates on patronizing Nigerian made goods, then there will be a major boost in the country’s economy. He also said that even wastes in our different states can be recycled and sold. “If you look at me very closely, you will see that everything on me is made in Nigeria including my car. Now that we are finding a lot of solutions to what is happening in the economy today, this motion is very timely. “If we concentrate on Made in Nigeria goods, consume and encourage those who are into it, then the economy is bound to grow. “In certain parts of the South east, everything including the waste materials are not wasted. They can turn the waste materials to be useful. If what is embedded in this motion is implemented, it wil boost the economy and will make the Naira to increase. It’s not about grammar but practice,” he said.

The lawmakers since then, have been leading by example by patronizing Nigerian made products which will also serve as way of diversifying the economy. On Monday, February 15, some Nigerian made cars were spotted at the senate parking lots which were later discovered to be owned by Senator Ben Murray Bruce and Senate President Bukola Saraki. Recently, Dino Melaye representing Kogi central senatorial district also purchased one of the Nigerian made cars.
