Mobuse blog: Fashion Accessories like what and what to be specific
Jemima: Fashion
accessories like footwear, bags, jewelries and hair accessories. We believe
everything day is an occasion.
Kemi
Mobuse blog: Why fashion accessories? What inspired your business?
Jemima: I
believe that accessorizing is one thing that brings out your looks and makes
your fashion "your own". From a little child I always loved to add
that one exceptional thing to my looks, may be a ribbon or a bangle,
I also love creating things which often got me in trouble because I would cut my mum's scarves to make hair
pieces or dissemble her jewelry to make one that suites me.
Kemi Mobuse blog: Lol! I can just imagine your mum's dismayed look at seeing her favourite scarf being used for fashion testing! Nice one
Jemima:
Back in secondary school I made a Jean tote bag. I stole one thing from everyone in the house
and sewed it on the bag
Kemi
Mobuse blog: Lmaooooo
It's a good thing, you recognized your talent on, because of that, you will obviously love what you do.

Mobuse blog: How did you start out? And how is your customer base?
Jemima: Well,
I work in an ICT firm here in Kaduna and making things for me was just a hobby
for long while until late 2014 when my colleague spoke to me about starting a
business
29/02/2016, 11:59 AM - Jemima: Even when he said that I was thinking of a business in the IT line but he said no.... Sell what you have
So I acquired a sewing machine did a little training and Walla!

Jemima: Oh

on time and keeps accounts. In fact, I call him “the Slave Driver”.
I have like 4 shops in Kaduna that I supply for and also have a lot of Abuja client I custom make for. I also make souvenirs for weddings.
