Ankara is a material that has been widely used all around, mostly for sewing clothes, so it is refreshing, seeing it being used in making other gorgeous things as well, i was really impressed when i saw Ankara dining chairs and trust me, i couldn't let the chance to getting to know the lady behind the hand work pass me by.
She is everything, all youths of nowadays should aspire to be, Talented, passionate and knows what she wants and go after it.

Ankara Freak: The name of my brand is Ankara freak.
African print really inspired me a lot.

Ankara Freak: Am always imaging how we could promote out fabrics. By using them to make pillow case, cotton,bags
clothes etc

about it?
Ankara Freak: How I came about the name ANKARAFREAK was that, every day I wear Ankara
prints and when people see me they call me Ankara instead of Opeyemi so i just thought
of it one day, that it’s high time I come up with a business name, So I decided
to add Freak.
Since then I have my brand name ANKARAFREAK and I registered it immediately.

Ankara Freak: Yess ooo. Not only foreigners and here in Nigeria. I see alot of people
get crazy about foreign designs. Please, they should #buy made in Nigeria products

Ankara Freak: My business is 4 years and it has been awesome though facing
challenges but thank God. The response has been awesome and I imagine at times

Ankara Freak: No I only use Ankara or adire to provide something out of it. I work on

actually old chairs, So I had to rebrand them
