Introducing PSY Kimono with just a single Fashion Item: KIMONOS.......
By Kemi Mobuse - Friday, July 29, 2016
Coming across PSY
Kimono on IG actually happened by accident; something about her page captivated
me and got my attention, I guess it was simply because, she unlike others I have
seen was churning out Just a single dress item: KIMONO. It was an item she
designed in so many ways and different styles that it was difficult to even
see, we were looking at just one clothing Item.
Trust me to give
in to my curiosity, I eventually got her to have a chat with me, and I realized,
there and then, that Amirah is gonna be a force to be reckoned with in the
Fashion Industry. Read excerpts from her interview below:
Let's introduce Y'all to the rave of the moment; Cake on a stick or Cake Pop for short...
By Kemi Mobuse - Thursday, July 28, 2016
If you haven’t heard of cake pops, you’re probably living
under a rock — maybe near the one I live under. Lol!
Cake pops, if you don’t know, are basically balls of cake
and frosting on a lollipop stick. Cake crumbs
are mixed with icing or chocolate, and formed into small spheres
or cubes in the same way as cake balls, before being given a coating of icing,
chocolate or other decorations and attached to lollipop sticks.Cake pops can be
a way of using up leftover cake or cake crumbs.
Coming across this new rave on IG, was an eye opener for me
that; the events industry is evolving daily and growing furiously. No longer, are
desserts limited to small chops ,
cupcakes and ice creams, it has actually extended to include waffles, cake pops
and many more mouth watering sweets.
KMB in the usual fashion had a fun chat with the CEO of this
unique brand and it makes for a good read…
Hurray!!!! Its our first giveaway.....Six delicious Cakes in a jar up for Grabs

We started out very small infact; our first order was 10 Popsicles but Now, we sell 5000 in a month - CEO Royal Pops Popsicle
By Kemi Mobuse - Wednesday, July 27, 2016
Looking back to my childhood days with fondness,I remember those special trips to the supermarket where our Mom usually buy us different pops on sticks. They were mostly ice cream pops with different flavours. My favourite back then was and is still vanilla, and you should have seen me go to work on it...Chai! I tell you, nothing and no one can annoy me whenever I am busy licking and sucking away at my pop. hehe! can't blame a babe...
Therefore, you can just imagine, what popped into my head, when I came across this unique brand on IG. We had a brief but interesting session with the brain behind the brand and it makes for an enlightening read right here....

Meet Sandra Aguebor, Nigeria’s first female mechanic
By Kemi Mobuse - Monday, July 25, 2016
Sandra Aguebor is Nigeria’s first lady mechanic.
This a man’s world, this is a man’s world, but it wouldn’t be nothing, nothing without a woman or a girl…” crooned James Brown in the 60’s. Well, if only Brown was born in this era where women are fearlessly taking the lead in spheres that were formerly considered to be “male-only.” If only he were alive to witness the revolution, he surely would have had different lyrics to his song.
Want a delicious slice of heaven? Hmmm! that's exactly what Sugar fancies Ng specializes in....
By Kemi Mobuse - Monday, July 25, 2016
A friend informed us recently that cakes in a jar are the hot
thing right now.
We assumed initially that "cakes in a jar" meant
little baked cakes in jars, like these cute ones. But cakes in a jar go way past that. Some aren't even baked in
the jar; they're made of a halved cake, or crumbled cake, layered in a jar with
whipped buttercream frosting. After the lid is put on, the high sugar content
of these treats means they can last for over a week, or be frozen.
These tiny delights make the perfect gifts for any occasion.
Make up a batch to keep on hand for sudden cravings, give as favors for your
next party, or send to loved ones overseas. The cakes will remain moist and
delicious for up to 6 months! What better way to show someone you care than a
personalized cake in a jar!

Catering now is me making money from my passion - Founder Splurgeon Food Services
By Kemi Mobuse - Thursday, July 21, 2016
Have you ever been to a really fancy restaurant? Maybe
you’ve seen special desserts in the windows of bakeries or dessert shops
from time to time. Have you ever thought a cake was so beautiful that it would be a shame to eat it?
Food elicits many
different reactions in people. Some people are drawn by taste, of course.
Others, however, might be tempted by its
smells and visual appearance.
For thousands of years, people have sought not only to make
food taste better, but great strides also
have been made in making food smell and look better. After all, no one wants to
eat something that doesn’t look appetizing!
It’s one thing to make a plate of spaghetti visually appealing.
It’s a whole other matter, however, to turn it into a true work of art. People
who dedicate their
time to turning edibles into visuals are often called food artists and that is
the exact word I can use to describe Linda
Adeoye, The Founder Of Splurgeon Food Services.
Her Interview
with KMB, revealed more about her art and food catering brand, read below;

I decided to incorporate my baking skills and healthy lifestyle and turned it into a business - Founder Kaabakitchen bakery
By Kemi Mobuse - Wednesday, July 20, 2016
There is this
stigma that eating healthy is gross, expensive, difficult, and boring.
Many people lack the desire to live a life that doesn't revolve around
amazing tasting food.
This is understandable, but what if I told you
eating healthy can also be delicious! Would you consider it then?
Do dishes like fried rice, creamy chicken soup, or grilled chicken sound yummy? How about snacks and treats such as Tiger Milk, bread, cinnamon roasted almonds, frozen yogurt, or even granola?
Every single one of those foods and more can be made healthy
and still taste amazing. That is what the founder of Kaabakitchen bakery had in mind to offer, when she birthed her brand.

I was inspired by the need for fun, colorful, and comfortable footwear - CEO Ivy Barber brand
By Kemi Mobuse - Wednesday, July 20, 2016
All women love shoes. That’s a given, infact, my belief is that;
the more uncomfortable the shoe, the more women buy it. Guess it’s something
about the shoe being in Vogue or just because it appears really Classy or in
some cases; flashy! I may be the only one who doesn’t do this…Hey!just saying,
Lol!
When I was growing up, my elegant mother, whose closet was
full of beautiful shoes, often told me, quite cheerfully, “You have to suffer
for beauty.” And, She lived by these words,
often grimacing while walking in one of her beloved shoes.
When we went shopping together, she always steered me toward
“sitting pretty shoes.” Instead, I’d break her heart and buy flats. I didn’t
want to be beautiful. I wanted to be clever. More than that, I wanted to be
comfortable. Nobody will ever say, “You’ve got to suffer for comfort.”
A beautiful shoe is a work of art. I get that. I enjoy
leafing through the latest Vogue as much as the next woman. I love fashion, as
long as I don’t actually have to wear it. Because beautiful shoes hurt. When
you shop for shoes, here’s an equation to keep in mind: the more heart-stopping
gorgeous a pair of shoes, the tougher it’s going to be to walk.
And it is for these exact reason; providing comfortable
pairs of Shoes, that the Barber brand was born. Read excerpts below of the KMB
had with the brand CEO where she talked about her brand and more….
