The world we live in; is a hearing world, and it feels strange coming across people who have difficulties coping with it.

Unfortunately, according to WHO over 5% of the world's population – 360 million people – has disabling hearing loss (328 million adults and 32 million children).

Roughly 10 percent of the U.S. adult population, or about 25 million Americans, has experienced tinnitus lasting at least five minutes in the past year. Among adults aged 70 and older with hearing loss who could benefit from hearing aids, fewer than one in three (30 percent) has ever used them. This can also be said of Nigeria, and a host of other countries, worldwide.

Some hearing disabilities are acquired; some are inherited, while some just happen through illness and a host of others.
