Tope Omamegbe’s Twice a bride was published June 2018 and it is a 5 Star phenomenal book. If you only read one book this year, it should be this one!

MY REVIEW:
Tope is a hugely talented Indigenous author from Nigeria. She has a talent for writing about realistic situations and infusing them with humour, suspense, passion and Hope.
This amazing woman has the ability to draw the reader so deeply into her story that several hours of reading go by in what seems like the blink of an eye.
Twice a bride captures what every lady goes through when subjected to a deep psychological trauma in this case Rape, especially when the subject bottles up all the pain involved instead of finding a listening ear and sharing her Turmoil. Wale whom the stories revolves around, nearly turned herself into a Murderer in her quest for vengeance against Alex her rapist because of her bottled up frustrations and bitterness which her parent had no idea she was even dealing with…..Thank God Alex who was making every effort at redemption took it all in his stride and at the end of it all, he was able to win her over and turned her into his bride a second time around.
Twice a bride is so packed with twist and turns within the plot, it’s hard to describe the novel without spoiling it! It’s easy to see that research has been done; the author has taken her time to make this as true as it can be. The couple had many internal battles to fight before they truly started to heal and look towards the future
Trust me, if you only have time to read a single book this year, I cannot stress highly enough that you need to choose Tope Omamegbe as the author to pick. It makes for a lovely read with interesting turn of events that has a strong message.
I rate TWICE A BRIDE as 5 out of 5 Stars and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all readers aged sixteen and up.
Big ups to the Author, you deserve some accolades.
